Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati, off to Shillong

• Tour starts with arrival at Guwahati, and then transfer to Shillong

• The journey starts with arrival at the Guwahati station/airport. From Guwahati get transferred to Shillong by a pre-reserved vehicle. The 3-hour ride to Shillong is full of attractions enroute. Attractions like Borapani Lake, Shillong peak, Elephanta falls, the Ward’s Lake make for prominent attractions that you would be visiting while you are in Meghalaya. Get transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Shillong: Day trip to Mawlynnong village

• An exciting day awaits you with a trip to Mawlynnong, Dawki, and Living Root Bridge

• After breakfast get ready to take explore the Mawlynnong Village. Mawlynnong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ was declared the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. Visit the Living Root Bridge located in the village of Rawai. Indo-Bangladesh Border can be spotted from Mawlynnong. Head to Dawki and enjoy the scenic nature and valleys around. Get back to the hotel for overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3: Shillong: Behold the beauty of Cherrapunji and surroundings

• Head to Cherrapunji, take a dip into nature’s serenity

• After breakfast, set off for Cherrapunji, locally known as Sohra and is located at a distance of 56 kms from Shillong. On the way is the Mawkdok Valley which is a prominent sightseeing for tourists. Further, proceed for a visit to the Nohsngithiang falls (Seven sisters falls) which happens to be the symbol of the Unity of the Seven States of North East India. Next up, go for a visit to the Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park. Get back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4: Trip ends, departure to Guwahati

• End of trip

• After breakfast we will leave for Guwahati. Visit the Tirupati Balaji Temple and with this visit the journey comes to an end. Get back to your destination.
